Before SJSU: Began volunteer coaching Leigh High School in 2017 with an emphasis on defense and practice implementation. The following season, Coach Reuter began working with Tier I Jr. Sharks 16U and 18U AAA teams as an Assistant Coach charged with overseeing Defensive players and 5-ono-5 systems integration across bothe teams. Coach Reuter continues to support the Jr. Sharks with a focus on AA player development and promotion to AAA Tier I.
Personal: A lifelong hockey player, Coach Reuter played youth hockey in San Jose with the Jr. Sharks. Following High School, Coach Reuter attended Boston College and graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Marketing and minor in Applied Psychology/Human Development. After returning back to the West Coacst, Reuter began a career in the Front Offices of Bay Area professional teams such as the San Francisco 49ers and San Jose Sharks. When not at the ice rink, Coach Reuter enjoys spending time outdoors camping, skiing, and spending time at the beach.
