2015-16: In his final season with the Spartans, Zach tallied 34 points in 25 games with a 17 to 17 split of goals to assists.

2014-15: Zach was recruited to the Division II team late in the season.  His games were monitored by both teams in order to balance his time with both division in order to pull him for the Division II post season.  He played 21 Division III games with a total of 48 points--33 goals and 15 assists.  His contributions to the Division II team were welcomed and appreciated.  With 6 total games at the Division II level, Zach scored 3 goals and 1 assist.

2013-14: Transferred to San José State University as a Junior.  Looking for a break from juniors but still wanting to play the game, Zach played for Division III despoit having the skill for Division II.  In fourteen games at Division III, Zach scored 33 goals and 15 assists with 8 penalty minutes.

Before SJSU: Zach grew up playing roller hockey and didn't pick up ice hockey until later.  He played 43 games for the Bay Area Seals of the Western States Hockey League where he score 6 goals and 12 assists for a total of 18 points.
