Rion, a Sophomore out of Lake Forest CA, played one season of D1 polo here at SJSU before joining the team this fall. Rion quickly emerged as one of the most hard-working and intense players. Rion did it all, whether it be giving that extra burst of speed to catch up to someone on a fast-break, getting extra high to get a shot block, or being our fourth leading scorer for the season. Although younger than most of the team, Rion proved to be a leader by example, taking responsibility for his mistakes and holding the rest of the team accountable. After a long battle with injuries, Rion looks to continue his D1 career next year. In his spare time, Rion enjoys beating all of us in Mario Kart, as well as playing other games and watching sports.
