After winning the 7's Conference Title and securing a spot at USA Rugby 7's Collegiate Championships in Atlanta this May, Women's Rugby looks to close out the West Coast Conference 15's season with back to back wins in the four team championship tournament this weekend (04/09-10/2022).

"We're really excited," says Club President Meghana "Maggy" Narravula, "Playing in back to back games is going to be a challenge, and we're going to have to bring our best energy levels and have the right mentality for both."

With no national competition for 15's this year, the team is extremely motivated to take home the conference title. Along with their skill to count on, Narravula also describes how the team dynamic will continue to contribute to a season of success.

"The positive environment and sense of community has continued to grow since the beginning of the season," she shares. "Our returning players have been able to guide the rookies, and our new players have picked up really fast. They put in time in and out of practice, which helped raise our skill level and build relationships."
