San José State University (2-2) men's lacrosse showcased its depth of roster this past weekend in a double-header against Chico State (2-4) and Cal State Monterey Bay (0-2), with three players scoring hat-tricks across the two games, with an additional five players also putting up points. The Spartans had a nail-biting 10-11 loss against a Chico State team that won last year's league title, and won against Cal State Monterey 11-6.

The three Spartans who scored hat-tricks were Max Oshetski who scored five goals against Chico State, along with Hunter Dietrich who scored 4 and Nicholas Kaletta who scored 3 against Cal State Monterey Bay. San José continues to be renowned for its face-off prowess, earning a combined 35-9 face-off record across the games.

After this performance, the Spartans are now 2-2 on the season, and undefeated on the road.
