Are you interested in joining Women's Rugby? You're in the right spot.
Please come out to our practices to get a feel for the team culture and flow! Everyone is welcome and no experience is required!
We absolutely love to have new girls join the team. It is never too late to join!
We play on the South Recreation Field, by CEFCU Stadium and the South Campus Garage: 1278 S 10th St, San Jose 95112
Practice is every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7-8:30 pm. It's encouraged that you come early to look for parking and prepare for practice.
Cleats and eventually a mouthguard will be necessary. For the first couple weeks, just cleats will be fine. If you don't have cleats yet running shoes will work. Make sure to wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring lots of water.
At practice, the Board Members will help get you situated and registered to play!
Once you've committed to the team, you will follow these steps to become a Woman of Sparta:
1. Register with Club Sports

2. Email a copy of your Medical Insurance Card and Tower ID to womensrugby@sjsustudents.com
4. Print, Fill Out and Sign an SJSUWRC emergency

5. Contact the treasurer to make a payment for your dues.
