Women's Rugby won the West Coast Rugby Conference Championship this past weekend.  The Women of Sparta completed their undefeated season with a win over Cal Poly SLO in Saturday's semifinal match, and a 50-0 route over UC Santa Cruz in the conference final on Sunday.

Captain Aimee Ramos and Monique Kohlstadt added hardware on the weekend when they were awarded two individual conference honors.  Ramos received the award for Most Conversions and Kohlstadt the award for Most Tries.  In addition, Monique Kohlstadt was selected to represent Rhino Rugby at the Tropical Rugby 7's tournament in Tampa, FL on April 15, 2022.

The Women of Sparta will head to Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, GA for the National Collegiate Rugby Champioships 7's taking place May 14-15, 2022.
